The company is keen to attract those exceptional individuals who are able to proactively identify, adapt and implement technical solutions to the most topical and complex research and development problems of the day. A number of opportunities exist for such personnel to join RiskAware as Software Consultants.
Successful candidates will be expected to immediately contribute to small, flexible and customer-focused project teams targeted at the development of software for use in cutting edge modelling, simulation and operational analysis applications. The job role will be multi-faceted, involving all stages of the project life-cycle and training will be available to help accomplish this.
Interested individuals should possess an excellent academic record, typically a higher degree in engineering, mathematics or the sciences, and 2 - 3 years productive experience in a technical computing environment, preferably with significant exposure to the Java programming language and JEE system architecture. Applicants with knowledge of Java Beans, Web Services, JavaScript and practical experience of creating Java Applications are especially welcome. Most importantly, candidates should be able to demonstrate their ability to work within agile teams, to document their work eloquently and to adapt to, and positively affect, their working environment.
Please note that due to the nature of our work only candidates who are likely to be eligible for UK security clearance can be considered. The primary place of employment will be the company’s registered offices in the centre of Bristol, UK.
